This program year, SMPS Northeast Ohio’s luncheon series is exploring what it means to go beyond the build and deliver value across the entire project lifecycle. From early planning and funding strategies through design, construction, and long-term operations, our Beyond the Build theme speaks directly to client priorities including capital planning, user experience, flexibility, phasing, and measurable ROI. Together, we are uncovering how AEC teams can better understand owner goals, align solutions to long-term needs, and deliver enduring impact.
In April, we’ll take an inside look at one of Northeast Ohio’s most transformative current projects: the Cleveland Clinic Global Peak Performance Center. This new state-of-the-art training and performance facility for the Cleveland Cavaliers and the community is serving as the first vertical development within Bedrock’s riverfront master plan, anchoring what’s to come. We will explore this highly complex project that demands extraordinary levels of collaboration, innovation, and technical execution.
Through a panel discussion featuring key members of the project team, this session will explore how early planning, integrated delivery, and stakeholder alignment shaped project success. Panelists will share lessons learned from balancing performance-driven design, constructability, logistics, and long-term operational goals, offering insights AEC professionals can apply to elevate project outcomes and client value.
Join us to discover how this landmark facility exemplifies what it truly means to go Beyond the Build by delivering lasting value for owners, users, and the community.
