This program year, SMPS Northeast Ohio’s luncheon series is exploring what it means to go beyond the build: delivering value across the entire project lifecycle. From early planning and funding strategies through design, construction, and long-term operations, our Beyond the Build theme reflects key client priorities: capital planning, user experience, flexibility, phasing, and measurable ROI. Together, we’re uncovering how AEC teams can better align with owner goals and deliver lasting impact.

In May, we’ll bring this theme to life through a site tour of Valor Acres - a transformative mixed-use development reshaping how workplace, residential, hospitality, and community experiences come together. As one of the region’s most dynamic projects, it offers a real-time look at how vision and strategy translate into built outcomes.
